I HEART My New Sweater

I happened upon a sweater the other day that is in my absolute favorite color to wear...well second to black. Coral. I had to have it. And I paired it with black which I love even more. It's a lightweight, summery sweater and I wish I could wear it every day.

THEN, the fashion gods were smiling down on me because I just happened to have a lipstick already that matched it perfectly. I was so excited that I decided to snap a couple of photos (I figured I needed a new profile pic anyhow):

So now one pic is on my blog page, and one is in my profile (because I can't decide which one I like best).

I also added some more of my favorite songs to my Playlist in my sidebar (you have to click on "pop out player to see all the songs...I have to work on fixing that). Does anyone ever listen to others' Playlists? Or am I the only one listening to mine? I'm guessing it's the latter.

I almost want to start my own radio show just so I can open with "Maneater" by Nelly Furtado and close with "Short Skirt, Long Jacket" by Cake. Or maybe "Hollaback Girl" by Gwen Stafani. Or, or....ugh..I love them all! But that's a good reason to start a radio show, right? :)

Finally, I am dying for someone to come debate Obama's stance on Iraq over at my political blog. Any takers? I promise I debate nicely. I really do! And I don't judge others for their beliefs so I will love you just as much even if you don't agree with me....which I know in blogland is just about everyone.

Oh, and if you missed it over the weekend, make sure you check out "Penis Power" in the post below. Worth. Every. Minute.

Can't wear that color but it looks divine on you.

Like the top pic the best.

I avoid political debates as often as humanly possible, so... hell no. ;-)

I was intrigued by your invitation to debate, so I popped over to your other blog to check things out because I am honestly searching for people with solid ideas for moving our country forward. However, I didn't really see anything of debatable substance. Seems you are very keen on bashing Obama personally, but not really stating your own thoughts and ideas on what would be good for our country or what kind of leadership you would like to see. Please don't think of me as a troll, I'm just really tired of the divisiveness of our current political environment, and am always hopeful to find people willing to break out of that mold and have beneficial discussions on the needs of our people and nation. Peace.

I think coral is a great color, and you make it even greater!

~ML- Thanks! :)

~K- LOL! ITA.

~John- Hahahahaha....thank you!

~Willie- I appreciate your input and respect your opinion, but I also respectfully disagree. I think it's good to look into the records/policies/tactics/beliefs of a candidate.

I personally am tired (this is not directed at you) of everyone being afraid to say anything bad about Obama. My posts point out why I don't want him to be my next president and that is very relevant to any debate on this election.

Anyhow, I plan on getting to McCain, what I like about him and what I want to see in the next president so you're more than welcome to comment then. :)

~Whall- Awww, thank you! :)

You look awesome! I could not wear that color, but it looks great on you!
Was Poppy hitting on you @Facebook?!
Haha
I might debate tomorrow - it's late and I need to sleep.

Thanks for the respect of my opinion. Please don't miss my point though. If you really want to debate then post your point of view on the key issues of our times. I don't really care what you think of Obama or McCain. I want to know what my fellow Americans think about the important issues of the day, and then and only then who they think is the best candidate to lead this great nation in solving the key issues of our society and world. Whoever is elected in November gets 4 years, or at max 8 to lead and direct policy in this country. The president is much less important than the people he/she represents. Let's debate substance, and leave the verbal missteps and media misdirections to those who prefer entertainment fodder to the substantive truth needed to move our nation forward.

~Willie- I realize that's how you like to debate. And I will get to those things in the future.

But for now, I'm looking to discuss Obama's policy on Iraq and his flip-flopping on it (and other key issues). If you'd rather not do that, I do understand and respect that.

To me, however, what I'm discussing IS substance, and VERY important to this election. Discussing a candidates record, policies, his shortcomings as a leader, etc., is not "entertainment fodder." It's an important part of intellectual discourse.

We will just have to agree to disagree with our debate styles and outlook on political discussions. :)

I tried to comment at your site, by the way, but I don't remember my Wordpress username or password. But I did want you to know I stopped by.

Have a wonderful day! :)

Poppy does not hit on people other than Dawg, she just appreciates beauty. :p

Thanks for stopping by. I have experienced some stalking lately, so I wanted to shut that down. I have removed the registration requirement if you want to stop by again. Politics can be such a divisive subject. I love to discuss, but also don't won't to cause further division. No hard feelings I hope?

~Steph- Thanks! As do you!

~Dick- You are too kind. :)

~Poppy- Awww, you are just the sweetest friend. I know I could never woo you away from Dawg, unfortunately. :)

~Willie- Oh, I'm so sorry about the stalking. I know how much that sucks. I'll stop by right now...thanks for opening it up. And absolutely NO hard feelings! ((((HUGS))))
